Andy has over 17 years of experience in training and development, principally in the pharmaceutical industry, including four years as Head of Training and Development for a major multinational before becoming a freelance training consultant in 1996.

Andy has worked extensively with leadership teams, sales/marketing, research, and manufacturing teams in companies such as Wyeth, BAT, Novartis, MSD, Newcastle University, gsk, Quintiles and Sigma-Aldrich.  Projects include design and implementation of leadership programmes, team development, cultural change interventions, management skills training and executive coaching.

Andy has significant experience of working internationally and with multi-national groups, having provided services across Europe and in the Middle East, Asia, Far East, Latin America, South Africa and the US.

Andy is a qualified NLP Practioner, and is certified in the use of various psychometric instruments including the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI); WorldWork’s International Profiler; and Hay Group’s Emotional Competence and Leadership Styles Inventories (ECI 360 and ILS 180 respectively).
